Hutovo Blato - National Park

Hutovo Blato National Park is a protected wetland area located on the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, in the valley of the Neretva River. It abounds in natural beauty, rich plant and animal species and beautiful landscapes.
Hutovo blato is one of the largest wetland complexes in the region and is home to numerous species of birds, including herons, cranes, eagles and many others. In addition, large numbers of other animals live in this area: wild boars, roe deer, beavers and otters. Visitors to the National Park can enjoy boating through the marsh, bird watching, fishing or hiking, or simply walking through this landscape.
